They are crafted using ancient extraction methods preserved over hundreds of years, honouring traditional processes such as cold pressing and solar extraction - never CO₂ extraction, solvent extraction, or high heat steam distillation.

Our lotus varieties are cold pressed from fresh flowers, protecting the flower’s natural colour pigment and subtle aromatic integrity. Ouds (woods) and sacred resins are extracted through solar infusion, allowing the warmth of the sun to gently draw out their depth and complexity in alignment with ancient Egyptian perfumery traditions. These slower, traditional methods preserve the living essence of the plant without the molecular alterations that can occur with high heat, solvent or CO₂ extraction techniques.
